Course Overview
Zygomatic Implants Course
This two-day comprehensive step-by-step course is designed for general dentists, periodontists and oral surgeons in zygomatic implant procedures. This hands-on course covers pre-surgical and surgical treatment planning, surgical procedures, and clinical protocols for placing zygomatic implants as a graftless alternative solution for rehabilitation of an atrophic maxilla.
Attendees will experience seeing a live patient procedure by Dr. Ali Alijanian and Dr. Reza Khazaie. Then attendees will be guided and trained on completing their own procedure. This course is designed to achieve predictable long-term results and prevent surgical and prosthetic complications.
Attendees who complete the All-on-X course series can qualify to perform a surgery with Dr. Alijanian. This will be assessed on an individual basis. (Rate to be determined based on case selection.)

Digital Workflow & Zygomatic Implant Course
Course Description:
This two-day comprehensive, LIVE patient course is excellent for all practitioners wanting to learn more about Zygomatic implants using All-on-X digital workflow. This hands-on course covers pre-surgical and surgical treatment planning, surgical procedures and clinical protocols for placing zygomatic implants as a graftless solution for rehabilitation of the atrophic maxilla. We will also review the step-by-step prosthetic protocol with the digital workflow. This will all be demonstrated with a live patient.
This course is also designed to achieve predictable long-term results by learning all potential complications associated with Zygomatic implants.
Attendees who complete this course will qualify to perform a alive surgery with Dr. Alijanian. This will be assessed on an individual basis.

Real Patient Experince
This is a patient that had Zygomatic implants placed back in 2007 (See Pano). The patient presented with sinus complications 20 years later. Of note is the bone loss around the upper left zygomatic implant which led to an oral antral communication resulting in chronic sinusitis (See Pano dated 2023). The implant is fully integrated at the zygomatic bone level, however there is a communication due to the alveolar bone loss. The approach to this patient is to cut the implant at the base of the zygoma and remove the trans antral and alveolar portion of the implant (See Video & Post Op Pano), allowing us to eliminate the oral antrocommunication. This is the reason why the ZAGAT zygomatic anatomy guided approach has been established and further reason why we are avoiding the placement of the zygomatic implant in the sinus as much as possible when there is inadequate bone at the alveolar level (Less than 4 -5 mm).
